The Creative Hangout is a creative discussion session where issues relating to writers, writing and the business of writing are raised, discussed and dissected. The hangout also provides a platform where creative minds can meet and connect with each.

This Creative Hangout Session would explore the theme: WHAT IS BAD POETRY? The discussion would examine:

– Is there anything like bad poetry?
– What makes a poem bad? (if there is a bad poem)
– what is the difference between a badly written poem and a bad poem?
– who decides what bad poetry is? and so much more.

Our Guest for this edition of the Creative Hangout is the lovely and gorgeous IQUO DIANAABASI. Iquo is a performance poet, and also writes prose and scripts for radio and screen. Her poetry collection Symphony of Becoming was shortlisted for the NLNG Nigeria prize for literature, and ANA poetry prize in 2013. Her debut Novel is due to be out in the last quarter of 2016.
