2016 CONTRIBUTORS - TPC VALENTINE POETRY SUBMISSION 2016

MEMBERS OF THE POETRY COURT

We want to say THANK YOU to all our contributors for this year’s VALENTINE POETRY SUBMISSION 2016. Your works are deep, rich and enticing. But like we have all known, that there are Poets and there are POETS!

For those poets that their poems were not published, we want to make it known to you that it’s not that your works are not worth it, but that your work still needs to be re-ironed.

Some poets submitted Nursery Rhymes.

For those that submitted Spoken Word, your works are good, but do not have, the complete version of a poem in them, they only have the free flow of words, rhymes.

Although. It should be noted that we published those poems, as fresh as they are without (makeup’s). We only try to correct Spellings, and words that might not be clear to the poet’s audience/readers.

Note: we are trying to see the possibility of publishing both 2015 poems and 2016 into a book, before the 2nd edition of BEAUTY OF WORDS. But if we are un-able to strike the cord before then, then lets expect it in January 2017.

But for the PDF version as promised, will be made available, as soon as we are done with editing.

LOVE IN A MORIBUND WORLD (VALENTINE LOVE POEMS) DAY 11 Features Paul Taiye Kolawole & Oki Kehinde Julius

Today, is the 11th day. Being the last day of ThePoetryCourt Publishing of valentine love poems.
Thanks to all contributors.

THAT NIGHT

 Arewa,

I will
No longer wait for your parent's consent,
Before I'll manipulate your sour name into mine.
Cant longer wait for that night, when love will glue us together under
 the blanket,
Where my Camel will ride your horse that has no tail.

I want to climb Your erected nipple,
That stand tall, like My Father's palm groove.
My fingers wants to press the sensitive button,
That sat like cone on Your water melon.

You will scream, scream and scream,
No one on earth, will be worthy of Your rescue.
I will dig deep the hole, that makes You a Mother,
When My pistol pestle, start to pound Your mortar.

Woe unto that undies and pants,
That will cover the clitoris of pleasure in between Your leg.
Curse be unto those nicker and skirt,
That will deprive My cuddling, from making You wet.

Your tongue, I want to lick like the lolly pop,
Along with Your virgin lips, that sweet like candy.
Your spine, I'll vertically trace down Your buttock,
Sparing not Your thigh and veins of Your pussy.

My throat is already thirsty for Your saliva,
For I'm not con-tempted with the wine I drank from calabash.
Your lips, I want to chew like a chewing stick,
Pardon me, if I refuse to bite You with a holy kiss.

 But before that night, Arewa!
I will never open your leg, like a nylon bag.

Let this covenant ruin my life,
If My lust fulness, will ever rob away your pride.
Let the darkness of Our "horny moon" blind my sight,
If My shackled eye, will ever seduce Your libido to rise.
I promise,I'll wait till that horny night,
Before I'll spew your virginity blood, which is Your pride.
I will lock up, My swinging pendulum in its bob,
Never to let it travel 'to and fro' into Your workshop.

LOVE IN A MORIBUND WORLD

Have you ever asked why
the female cheetah
keeps its baby in her belly?

Have you ever asked why the
kernel is guarded by a shell?

Have you ever asked why the
snail hides itself in its shell?

The soil holding the plant
after the rain is not a mistake;
neither is sun for the day
and moon for the day
a failed promise to I S R A E L.

God is love even if
we worship in different ways.

Love is everlasting
even if destructive men
try to grind our world to ashes.

Love is peaceful,
even if we try to create the divide.

Love is progressive,
it tells us why the world
should keep being.

Love is sacrificial,
why would some men refuse
to die like Saint Valentine?

Love is tolerant,
just like the ocean tolerates
multitude of fishes.

Love is everything,
It is a reflection of our shared humanity.

LOVE IN A MORIBUND WORLD (VALENTINE LOVE POEMS) DAY10 Features Tanimonure Richards Adewale & Samuel Leumas BlueAdonis

THE LOVE

earth is in sadness
her peace pierced mouth
frowns her smiling pains galore
and her body tremors the thick sickness
looming large of passionate loved hatred
that hangs heavy death in time's sacred womb
death smiling a monster hunger in wait
of a horrid sweet swallow in totality
with a massive mouth of nuclear attack
whose pathetic munch breaks the sky into terrible tears
and the sun scampers in fear flee safety
gross darkness laughs a mockery remnant on mother earth

where is the love?
where is it exiled?
who has driven it into a missing oblivion?
what makes a scarce silence of it?

i am searching for that unique lone love
and we are many combing corners for it
not amongst the myriads of mocking lean seen on display
not within sweet poisonous treaties and agreements
the headlines hurl at our faces everyday
not found in the holy churches of gigantic sin bellies of deceit
not seen in pious mosques of turbaned corruption of worship
not resting either in the groves and cults of tradition's slavery

i am searching for the love; the unique lone love
not photocopied, scanned, transgendered or cloned
where could it be? someone please show me?

and then the questions flew me up sky high
we overtook the sky, zoomed past planets waving bye
and lo in blazing behold of purest scene unfold
i saw the lost longed love, sitting on a great throne
"oh why did you abandon mother earth?"
"why are you making her suffer so,
in wearies of wars, miseries of calamities bold?"
it smiled at me; i was sweetened by its glee
and its soft baby voice filled me up so deep
"I AM STILL WITH EARTH; AND I AM NOT WITH HER"
"i make my home in the homes of my heart
and earth will never find me in fruitless search
until earth finds my heart; my heart in earth's
within murks of moribund, it will be a fright of find"

and so this speaks the piece of miss
of true love in a moribund world
find its heart, earth and live it for sure
discard your created parades of deception charades galore.

TO MY BEST FRIEND

A song of true-Blue love
Ethereal friends join me seraphinely
As I sing this song with colorful voices of water
Venal vibes pouring my ray of smiles
To the sun with sublime petals of light

To the tunes of flowers
Beautiful cherry blossom
The garden of stars is friendship

To the voices of the west wind
Western Bluebell in the hycinthine sky
True love is the truest heart of nobles

Covenant of exhilaration
On the dale of music and passion
Shining vale of beautiful beatitude
To swirl of dewy cloud in gentle sough

To the flowering tones
The rosy honey on the lips of my mind
Showering magnolia and narcissus
Pride of friendship

A citadel of oneness

To my Best Friend on the isle of lagoon
A smiley Cherub
heartbeats of heaven,
Star of David
Banner of Jonathan,
Songs of Solomon
The psalmist description,
Insignia of affection
Emblematic peace,
The Chorale of birds
Timbre of Eagles,
Central garden heartening s
The Blue apple of pristine,
The lyre of geniality
Vega of glee,
Colours of my ink
Joyful ivory of gold

His presence like
Banquet of wine and music
World truest treasure on the beach of serendipity
A rainbow within new multiple colors
A spring of diamond and the sea of gold

My Palmy'ness cloud
Shady bower of my head,
Crown of his maiden
My symphony of sapphire
Spectre of precious stones
And a Dynamic hues of Jacaranda

A friend adamantine like spanish Armada
Shield of my heart
Creator of happy mind
My strength and solace

A guardian angel from Avalon
His heart is Love

In the best State of friendship
Wonderful melody of Trinity's territory
Mystified feeling, supernovic
Frisson of bliss
And aura of delirium

I met you in the central blithe of June
Magical dovetail myrr by star dune
Smiles that light the moon with sun-rays
Bringing forth enchanting gale to my happy days

Take me to the windy mountains of spices
So Cosy inspiring blue poetry

Knowing you best friend
Is like tasting sweet white wine
from the ambient of Glowing vine
Which angels tend

The month of May may juice June
My best friend Is my best tune
January may knit to February
Shrine of Friendship is Love's sanctuary ..

Happy Valentine's day
My besty.
This is my gift
